♥ A movement of strength. A community that never leaves you.
Oh shit.This is really happening.
A diagnosis. A phone call. A conversation you didn’t want to have. Or maybe you’re staring down a surgery date thinking—how in the hell am I supposed to prepare for this?
You don’t have to pretend with me.
Help the next person feel less alone.
Share experience. Strength. Hope. Humor. The real stuff.
Cancer Journey
The waiting. The silence. The part where your mind fills in every blank with a future that hasn’t happened yet. I can’t tell you what comes next. I can tell you what it was like to stand in that space, what I did with the fear, and how I keep living my life alongside the waiting.
Practical Support
Cancer is a lot. Appointments, decisions, medications, paperwork, questions—and suddenly you’re supposed to know what to do with all of it. I’m sharing what helped me make sense of the mess.
For Caregivers
When someone you love has cancer, you want to fix it. You can’t. You can bring food, make the calls, sit quietly, say the wrong thing, try again—and keep showing up. That matters more than getting it perfect.
Reach Back
Cancer sucks. Reach Back is what we do with what we’ve lived—hold a hand, share a cup of tea, cry together, laugh at the absurd parts, and tell the truth about the things nobody warned us about. Because sometimes “me too” is exactly what someone needs.
The real-life part of cancer doesn’t come with instructions.
Breast cancer forced me to ask questions I never knew I needed to ask, make decisions while terrified, and figure out practical things nobody warned me about.
I’m not a doctor, therapist, or coach. I’m someone who lived through diagnosis, surgery, reconstruction, recovery, hormone treatment, and the very strange process of trying to rebuild a normal life afterward.
This is lived experience, not medical advice.
Tools I wish I had on day one.
You weren’t meant to do this alone.
The Unbreakable Society is where lived experience gets passed forward.
You survived something hard. Someday, your story may be the thing that helps someone else survive it too.
Community features are coming soon. For now, start with the stories and tools.
